What we do

Choosing a college in Karnataka is genuinely difficult. The state has hundreds of institutions across eighteen streams, three separate entrance routes for engineering alone, and fee structures that vary by an order of magnitude between government and private seats. Reliable information is scattered across university websites, government notifications and PDF bulletins.

Campus Karnataka brings that information into one place. We maintain structured profiles of colleges across Karnataka, detailed course pages covering eligibility and career outcomes, and exam guides for the entrance tests that actually matter for Karnataka admissions — KCET, COMEDK, PGCET, KMAT, NEET and the national exams.

What we cover

  • Colleges — 5462 institutions across 31 Karnataka districts, from Bengaluru and Mysuru to Kalaburagi, Ballari and Dakshina Kannada.

How we work

Our college and course information is compiled from publicly available sources: the Karnataka Examinations Authority, COMEDK, AICTE and UGC approval lists, university and college websites, and official government notifications.

We are an independent information platform. We are not affiliated with the Government of Karnataka, any university, or any regulatory body, and we do not conduct admissions or guarantee seats at any institution.

Accuracy and corrections

Education data changes constantly — fees are revised annually, exam dates shift, and colleges add or discontinue programmes. We work to keep listings current, but we always recommend confirming critical details with the official authority before acting on them. Our data methodology sets out exactly which figures we verify, against which publications, and what we refuse to publish without a source.

If you spot something that is wrong or out of date — particularly if you represent a college — please get in touch and we will correct it. Every correction we publish is listed, with its date, on the corrections log.

Is Campus Karnataka free to use?
Yes, and there is no login wall. Every cut-off table, college profile, seat matrix and tool on this site is readable without an account. The one thing that may ask for a mobile number is the full predictor shortlist — and every closing rank behind it is already published free on the cut-off pages.
Where do the cut-offs come from?
Every closing rank is transcribed by hand from KEA's and COMEDK's own published notifications, and each figure carries the publication it was read from. Nothing is modelled, averaged or estimated — see the methodology page for how each source is checked.
How many colleges are listed?
Every college in the Ministry of Education’s AISHE register for Karnataka, plus the institutions that admit through KEA and COMEDK counselling. The colleges directory prints the current count and groups them by district.
Why do some colleges show no fees or placement figures?
Because no official figure has been published for them. Where an authority has not stated a number, this site shows nothing rather than an estimate — a blank means "not published", not "not researched".
When is the next counselling round?
The counselling tracker carries every stage for KCET, COMEDK, NEET-UG Karnataka and DCET, with the official notice behind each one and the date the portal was last read. It is updated from the authority’s own page rather than from rumour.
Do you get students admission, or arrange management quota seats?
No. This site publishes the official data and the tools to read it; it is not an admissions agency, takes no fee from colleges for placement, and cannot obtain a seat for anyone. Enquiries submitted here reach the editorial team, not a sales desk.
