Every closing rank here is transcribed by hand from official KEA and COMEDK publications, so mistakes are possible and some have happened. When one reaches a page it is fixed and listed here rather than quietly overwritten. Nothing is removed from this list. How the data is verified · Report an error

What was wrong: The summary strip under the round cards announced a stage as happening “now” using a status set by hand at the last portal read, without checking it against the clock. On 27 August it invited candidates into a KCET objection window that had closed at 4:00 PM on the 24th — while the cards directly above it correctly showed the same stage as closed.
What it says now: A stage is now demoted automatically once its own published deadline passes, and stays visible as the most recent thing that finished. The clock can only close a stage, never open one — that still requires the portal to say so. Each card also shows how old its portal read is, and says plainly when it has not been checked recently.

What was wrong: The headline rank on each college’s cut-off page was the tightest figure across every allotment round, which is almost always Round 1. Because ranks loosen as seats are released, this understated the rank at which a seat actually closed — telling a candidate a college was out of reach when it was not.
What it says now: The headline now quotes the final published round for that seat, the same rule every other page on the site already used. Every round remains visible in the table below it.

What was wrong: Where two different colleges share a registered name and city — four such pairs in Karnataka — both were printed identically, at different ranks, with nothing to tell them apart.
What it says now: Each is now qualified by a fact from its own record: founding year, urban or rural, or its AISHE code. Where the register holds nothing that separates them, they are labelled as KEA’s first and second listing rather than left ambiguous.

What was wrong: The page stated two different reply times: its FAQ said within two hours regardless of season, while the enquiry-form card said one to two working days.
What it says now: One promise, stated once — within two hours — and it is now read from a single place in the code so the two cannot drift apart again.

What was wrong: The file told AI assistants the site held no NEET closing ranks. It held 7,022, across 207 Karnataka medical and dental colleges.
What it says now: The summary now declares the NEET coverage it actually has, with the warning that these are All-India ranks and are not comparable with a KCET rank.
