PUC Science (PCM / PCB)
Science is the widest of the three PUC streams — it keeps engineering, medical, pure sciences and computing all open. Which of them you can pursue depends on whether you took Mathematics, Biology, or both.

Commerce leads into accounting, finance, management and the professional qualifications — CA, CS and CMA. Karnataka, and Bengaluru in particular, has one of the deepest concentrations of commerce colleges in India.

After 12th Arts
PUC Arts / Humanities
Arts is the strongest foundation for law, civil services, journalism, social work and psychology — and it is consistently underrated. Karnataka has excellent arts colleges, particularly in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Dharwad.

Finished Class 10 instead?
After SSLC you can join PUC in Science, Commerce or Arts, or take a diploma. Diploma holders can enter the second year of B.E/B.Tech directly through Karnataka DCET.
