How this ranking is produced

This is Campus Karnataka’s own editorial shortlist, not an official government ranking and not a score. The order is a starting point built from what we can actually cite for each college — its accreditation grade and its UGC/AICTE recognition — and nothing about the order is a judgement on teaching quality.

What it does not yet use. Student reviews and placement figures are not part of this order, because we hold almost none: no college on this site has an approved student review yet, and only two carry a placement figure we can cite. When those exist they will count, and this paragraph will say so. Until then a college’s position here reflects paperwork we could verify, not outcomes we measured.

It is not NIRF. India’s official ranking is the National Institutional Ranking Framework, published by the Ministry of Education at nirfindia.org. Where we hold a verified NIRF rank for a college we show it on the college page and in the section below.

Ratings and placement figures currently on this site are indicative and pending verification. Treat this list as a starting shortlist, not a verdict — and always compare fees, location and course fit alongside rank.
