About MBBS

Admission to MBBS anywhere in India is only through NEET-UG: a candidate must score the minimum eligible score, be 17 by 31 January of the exam year, and have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English. Seats are filled by common counselling on the NEET-UG merit list — in Karnataka, through KEA. The degree is not complete until the compulsory rotating medical internship is done, and the course may not run beyond nine years from admission.
