In short
KEA published UGNEET-2024 closing ranks in twelve files — two rounds, medical/dental and AYUSH, each across the General, Kalyana-Karnataka and Private pools. Together they hold 7,022 closing ranks over 65 medical, 38 dental and 104 AYUSH colleges. Every figure is a NEET All-India rank, not a KCET rank, and describes the 2024 admission year.
These are 2024 figures, and they are NEET ranks.
Two things they are not. They are not a prediction for 2026 — seat matrices, college lists and the candidate pool have all moved since. And they are not comparable with any KCET closing rank on this site: NEET ranks the whole country, KCET ranks Karnataka. Read them as the record of what happened in 2024, which is the only thing a published cut-off ever is.

Was waiting for Round 2 worth it?
Of the 3,474 seats KEA published in both rounds, 2,716 loosened — the closing rank moved later, so a lower-ranked candidate got in. 718 did not move, 40 got harder, and 47 disappeared between rounds: allotted in Round 1 and gone by Round 2, where waiting gained nothing at all.

Waiting is usually safer, not always. In the big general medical pool not one of 1,258 seats got harder. In the small ones it happens: NRI and Others quotas and niche AYUSH courses are decided by a handful of candidates, so a seat almost nobody wanted in Round 1 can close far tighter in Round 2 once someone better ranked opts for it. These are 2024 figures and describe that year only.
How these were read
KEA’s cut-off PDFs have a clean text layer, which is what makes them dangerous. Its columns are narrower than its six-digit ranks, so adjacent values run together in any text extraction — 198995180824 is two ranks, and one AYUSH row packs five into a single run. In the private-pool file, a text extraction places a rank on the wrong course row entirely. Every figure here was therefore read from character coordinates and checked against the printed pages, and the parser refuses a file it cannot fully account for rather than reporting a partial read as a clean one.

- Are these NEET ranks or KCET ranks?
- NEET All-India ranks. KEA runs Karnataka medical, dental and AYUSH counselling on the NEET rank, not on a state entrance rank, so every figure on these pages is a NEET rank and cannot be compared with a KCET closing rank. That is also why these rows are kept out of the predictor and the rank-band pages, which are KCET and COMEDK surfaces.
- Why 2024 and not 2025 or 2026?
- Because 2024 is what KEA published. Its UGNEET-2024 portal carries a complete round-wise cut-off set as machine-readable PDFs. The 2025 portal publishes no cut-off PDFs at all — a 2025 dataset could only be derived from 568 pages of allotment lists, which would be our inference rather than KEA's publication. The 2026 Karnataka round-1 result was scheduled for 19 August 2026 and still had not been published when the portal was re-read at 1:10 AM IST on 21 August; KEA gives it no new date. Its cut-offs follow after.
- What does "final" mean beside a publication?
- KEA published two round-2 files for most pools with identical titles and different numbers — one final, one earlier. For Bangalore Medical College the final file gives a General Merit closing rank of 4,203 and the earlier one 4,156. Nothing inside either document says which supersedes which; only the filename does. We show the final where KEA published one and say so where it did not.
- A college I expected is not here.
- These pages carry exactly the colleges KEA listed in each 2024 publication, under KEA's own printed names. A college that took no candidate in a given pool has no row in that pool's file, and a college that opened after 2024 cannot appear at all.
