About BDS

BDS is four academic years of 240 teaching days each, followed by one year of compulsory paid rotating internship in a dental college; the Dental Council of India grants the degree only after the internship. Admission is through NEET (a minimum of the 50th percentile), and a candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English individually with at least 50% together in the science subjects.
