Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB)
The Class 12 examination for students in Karnataka pre-university colleges, taken in the Science, Commerce or Arts stream. The 2nd PUC result is the single most important qualification for degree admissions within Karnataka, and PUC marks feed directly into KCET ranking.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
The national Class 12 board examination. CBSE Class 12 results are accepted for admission to every degree programme in Karnataka, and CBSE students compete for the same KCET, COMEDK, NEET and JEE seats as PUC students.
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE)
The Class 12 examination conducted by CISCE. ISC results are accepted for all degree admissions in Karnataka.
Karnataka State Open School (KSOS)
An open schooling route for students completing Class 10 or Class 12 outside the regular school system, including working students and those resuming education after a gap.
