Two doors into the same building
A private health-science college in Karnataka fills part of its intake through KEA’s centralised counselling, at the fee KEA notifies. It fills the rest itself, at a price it sets and prints in its own admission material. Neither number is false. What almost nobody tells a family is that both exist for the same college in the same year.

They demonstrably admit KEA-counselled students, and they also publish the sheets below.
The gap, spelled out
KEA notifies BPT at ₹8,250 a year. BPT is taught over four years plus a six-month internship, so four charged years is ₹33,000 — that multiplication is ours, and it assumes four years are charged at the notified rate. The cheapest full BPT course on any admission sheet we have read is ₹4,05,000 at Manjunatha College of Physiotherapy, and the dearest is ₹11,10,000. For an SC or ST candidate within the income limit, the counselled fee is ₹0.

Fee sheets we were given and did not publish
Every one of these carries a real number from a real college. Each is held back for a reason that would not be visible from the figure itself, so the reason is printed instead of the price.
- Smt. Lakshmi Devi Group of Institutions — BPT, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, D.Pharm, allied sciences and paramedicalThe group's nursing college is in the database and every nursing row on the sheet is published against it, including the four that had no inclusions note. The rest of the sheet prices colleges that are not here: physiotherapy, pharmacy, allied health and paramedical. Re-checked on 6 September 2026 against every spelling that has caught this project out before — Lakshmi Devi, Laxmi Devi, Lakshmidevi, Vasudhara, Vasudha — and the group has exactly one college in this database. "Shree Devi College of Physiotherapy, Mangalore", which a loose name match once proposed, is a different trust 350 km away.
- SGI College of PhysiotherapyRe-investigated 6 September 2026 on a second, fuller fee poster — ₹4.10 lakh then ₹1.50 lakh × 3, total ₹8.60 lakh, the arithmetic closes, and unusually for this batch the document states its inclusions in a column of their own: food and accommodation, every year. The fee itself would be publishable. The college cannot be identified, and that is now a much better-evidenced negative than "no address". Its own site (sgigroupofinstitutions.com) gives an address — Sreegandhada Kaval, Hamantha Nagar, 1st Main Rd, Sunkadakatte, Bangalore 560091 — and claims RGUHS affiliation, but NEVER EXPANDS "SGI", names no trust or society, and quotes no RGUHS college code. RGUHS's own list of 169 affiliated physiotherapy colleges holds four at pincode 560091 — CIV, Kengal Hanumanthaiah, KTG and Shantidhama — and none of them is SGI. ⚠️ THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT UNAFFILIATED: an institution trading under a brand while affiliated under a different legal name would look exactly like this, and so would one affiliated after the 06-07-2026 order. But it does mean the only way to place this fee is to guess which of those four it is, or invent a college — and a near-miss is a wrong answer, not a small one. The poster's number (080-50624407) matches nothing in this database and differs from the two its own website lists. Resolve it by getting the college's registered name or RGUHS code from the institution; the fee is ready to publish the moment that exists.
- Noor Green City Group of InstitutionsRe-investigated 6 September 2026 on a full BPT fee poster — admission ₹1,00,000 then ₹1,75,000 and ₹1,25,000 × 3, total ₹6,50,000. The arithmetic closes exactly under the rule that the admission fee sits inside the printed total, and the poster states its inclusions plainly: "Package including Food & Accommodation". The fee itself would be publishable. The college cannot be identified. ⚠️ AND THE REASON THIS ENTRY GAVE BEFORE WAS WRONG. It said "the group's nursing and pharmacy colleges are in the database", which was never established: it rests on the words "Noor" and "Green City" turning up in three unrelated institutions — Noor College of Nursing (Nursing Council entry 213, Noor Building, RMV 2nd Stage, Bhoopasandra, Bangalore 560094), Green City College of Nursing (entry 109, Hosur Road, Bommasandra, Bengaluru 560099) and Green City College of Pharmacy. The poster's own address is Bagalur Main Road, Bangalore 562149. Those are three different places, up to 40 km apart, and nothing links any of them to this group. That is the loose name match this file refuses everywhere else, and it made an unattested group look like a near-miss. Searched instead by regex across RGUHS's 169 affiliated physiotherapy colleges, the Nursing Council's B.Sc, GNM, post-basic and M.Sc registers, PCI's pharmacy list, RGUHS's allied-health list, KEA's own physiotherapy counselling list and all 5,283 colleges here: NO institution named Noor Green City appears in any of them. The poster's credentials read "Approved by IAP, affiliated to RGUHS, Recognised by GOK". IAP — the Indian Association of Physiotherapists — is a professional membership body, not a statutory regulator; it does not affiliate or approve colleges, so that line is not the assurance it reads as. "Recognised by GOK" cites no order. RGUHS affiliation is the one claim the documents can test, and RGUHS's own order of 06-07-2026 names 169 physiotherapy colleges, none of them this. ⚠️ Same caveat as SGI: an institution trading under a brand while affiliated under a different legal name would look exactly like this, and so would one affiliated after that order. ⚠️ AND DO NOT RESOLVE IT BY PINCODE. RGUHS registers TWO physiotherapy colleges at 562149, the poster's own — PT15 Athena College of Physiotherapy, which is in this database with three verified 2026 KEA closing ranks, and PT124 Sarvani College of Physiotherapy, which is not. Neither carries this name, and a shared pincode is a locality, not an identity. Resolve it by getting the registered name or RGUHS code from the institution; the fee is ready the moment that exists. The poster also claims "100% Placement Assistance", which this site does not republish.
- Shri Maruthi Group — BPT, pharmacy and lawThe brochure prices these alongside nursing and allied health, but only the group's nursing and allied-health colleges are in this database, and they are not in the regulators' lists either. Re-checked 6 September 2026 against a standalone BPT fee poster, this time by regex over every spelling that has caught this project out — Maruthi, Maruti, Marooth, Maruthy. The group IS in the nursing, GNM, M.Sc nursing and allied-health lists under "SHRI MARUTHI"; RGUHS's 169 physiotherapy colleges and PCI's 93 B.Pharm colleges name no Maruthi institution of any spelling, and neither lists a college at the group's address. So the absence is a real negative, not the false one that kept Vidya Shekar out for eleven days. The group's own cover claims approval by PCI and the Bar Council of India. Until one of those bodies lists the institution there is no college here to attach a fee to, and inventing one to hold a price would be the exact failure this file exists to prevent. ⚠️ AND WHOEVER PUBLISHES THIS FEE IF THE COLLEGE EVER APPEARS: the 2026-27 poster labels the ₹5,40,000 column "BPT (With Hostel)" and then foots the table "*Food, Accommodation, Books, Uniform, Hostel Caution Deposit, Hostel Utility & Miscellaneous Fee will be Extra." Those two statements cannot both be read plainly — the ₹2,00,000 premium over the "Without Hostel" column buys something the footnote says is extra. Do not publish either figure as hostel-inclusive without asking the college which the footnote applies to.

- What does BPT cost in Bangalore in 2026-27?
- Two different numbers, both real. Through KEA counselling the notified fee is ₹8,250 a year — ₹0 for SC and ST candidates within the income limit. Directly with the college, the 2026-27 admission sheets we have read quote between ₹4,05,000 and ₹11,10,000 for the whole course. 13 of those 18 colleges appear in both places: they take KEA-counselled students and also sell seats at their own price.
- Why is the college quoting so much more than the government fee?
- Because they are different seats. KEA fills a share of each private college's intake through centralised counselling at the notified fee; the rest the college fills itself, at a price it sets and publishes in its own admission material. A rank good enough for a KEA seat is worth several lakh rupees, which is exactly why the counselled fee is rarely the number a family is quoted first.
- Is the college fee negotiable, or is it the real price?
- It is the price the college printed for 2026-27 admissions, read on the date shown beside each table. It is a primary source — the college speaking about itself — not a government-notified fee, and not an aggregator's estimate. Confirm the current figure and what it includes with the college before paying anything.
- Do these totals include hostel and food?
- Sometimes, and that is the single biggest reason two totals are not comparable. Shri Maruthi prints ₹5,40,000 and ₹3,40,000 for the same BPT, and the whole difference is the inclusions. Every row on this page carries what its figure covers, in the college's own terms.
- What about B.Sc Nursing?
- KEA prices a nursing seat three ways: ₹10,000 a year for a government seat, ₹0 for SC/ST within the income limit, and ₹1,00,000 a year for a KEA private seat for a Karnataka candidate. The colleges' own sheets read ₹8,70,000 to ₹9,25,000 for the four-year course — roughly double even the KEA private-seat price.
- Why are some colleges missing from this page?
- Because their fee sheet names a group rather than the constituent college that teaches the course, and this site will not invent a college to hang a price on. All 4 are listed at the bottom of this page with the reason, rather than quietly dropped. Sheets that were withheld for a caveat — an unstated "total package", a non-Karnataka-only price — are now published with that caveat printed beside the figure. Separately, Chettinad Institute of Medical Education and Research (Kolar) is left off this page for being outside Bangalore, not for any doubt about the figure — it is published in full on its own college page.
